Buttock Augmentation (Brazilian Butt Lift)

If you want to enlarge or re-shape your buttocks, buttock augmentation may be the solution you've been looking for. Women and men who enlarge their buttocks can enjoy a more voluptuous and perky profile.  Buttock augmentation can enhance the natural curves for patients who are unhappy with the shape of their buttocks. It can also add volume and roundness to a flat or small buttock. The preferred method for performing buttock augmentation is fat transfer. By using the patient’s own body fat to reshape the buttock, fat injection achieves a more natural result.

Buttock augmentation with fat transfer, also known as the Brazilian Butt Lift involves two steps. First, the patient's own fat is collected through liposuction from the lower back, waist, and flanks (love handles). Removing fat directly adjacent to the buttock not only provides the fat for buttock enhancement, it also contours the areas around the butt for a more dramatic result. After the fat is removed it is specially treated and reintroduced into the buttock.  In the second step, the donor fat is added to the buttocks with tiny injections to ensure an even and attractive augmentation. This method of fat injection lends a shapely contour to the buttocks that lasts a long time.

After buttock augmentation with fat transfer, patients should avoid sitting directly on the buttocks for two to three weeks to maximize results. During this time, compression garments may be worn to reduce swelling. Most patients return to work two weeks after their buttock augmentation and are able to resume all normal activities within four weeks. Swelling typically dissipates by the sixth week.

For patients who desire a younger appearance of the mid-face, brow and neck without undergoing a facelift, brow lift, or necklift a new minimally invasive procedure is available. FDA-approved Contour Threadslift™ are thin, flexible sutures that are threaded underneath the skin from the ear to the hairline to rejuvenate sagging foreheads, eyebrows, cheeks and neck. When the threads are pulled gently, tiny barbs lift the sagging tissue into a subtly higher, more youthful position that reflects the patient's natural facial contours. The sutures are left in place to maintain the effects, which are further enhanced and supported over time as the body produces natural collagen and elastin fibers around the threads. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia.

Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy involves the injection of medications and other substances into the mesoderm, the layer of fat and connective tissue beneath the skin. At Dermatology Specialists of North Atlanta we use mesotherapy, also referred to as lipodissolve, to reduce unwanted fat deposits located throughout the body.  It involves a series of injections into the subcutaneous fat to remove the unwanted adipose tissue and to reshape the body.  The procedure can be done every 3 to 4 weeks.  The procedure requires no downtime and you may experience inflammation and firmness in the area for 3-5 days.

Medlite 6 Laser Our Medlite 6 laser is a high-tech way to remove tattoos or eliminate brown discoloration caused by certain birth marks or age spots also known as "liver spots". Tattoo Removal All colors of a tattoo can be treated with the Medlite 6 laser. Dark (blue, black) and red inks resolve the best. Oranges and purples usually fade as well. Green and yellow inks are the most difficult to remove, and additional treatments are needed to produce significant fading. The tattoo will completely disappear in many cases. Chemical Peels

Chemical peels remove damaged outer layers of skin on the face to smooth texture, reduce scarring, and remove blemishes and pre-cancerous growths to produce healthy, glowing skin. Peel formulas and strengths are tailored to each patient. Our office performs light and medium depth chemical peels. We offer Beta-Lift chemical peels, glycolic acid peels, Skin Medica Revitalize peels, clay peels and TCA peels. Please inquire within our office about which peel will better suit you.

Cosmetic Mole Removal

Any new or changing mole should be evaluated by your dermatologist immediately. Any moles that appear to be abnormal should be removed and sent to the laboratory for examination by a dermatopathologist. Dr. Cole offers a full skin examination on your first visit and yearly thereafter to check for abnormal moles and skin cancer.

If Dr. Cole determines that a mole is benign (non-cancerous), a mole may be removed for cosmetic reasons. In this case, insurance will not cover the removal of moles which are removed for cosmetic reasons.

The price of mole removal depends on how large the mole is, where the mole is located, and the method used to remove it.
